Photoconvertible fluorescent proteins for super-resolution miscroscopy
The STABLE-FP project involves studying the functioning of fluorescent proteins present in marine organisms.
These photoconvertible proteins have the particularity of changing colour under certain illumination conditions. Scientists are looking to improve their behaviour in order to develop new markers, particularly for use in super-resolution microscopy.
This report was produced and financed as part of the "Science Avec et Pour la Société" (SAPS) call for projects.
CNRS Images,
Our work is guided by the way scientists question the world around them and we translate their research into images to help people to understand the world better and to awaken their curiosity and wonderment.
