Charlène Bouchaud Archéobotaniste du Muséum d'Histoire Naturelle de Paris et Juliette Milon étudiante en Archéologie botanique conditionnent afin de les rapporter en France des plantes récoltées sur place afin de les comparées avec les restes végétaux trouvés dans les fouilles. Ici il s'agit de coton. L'hypothèse à vérifier est que les nabatéens le cultivaient.
