Phylloméduse de Vaillant ou phylloméduse carénée juvénile, "Phyllomedusa vaillantii", sur le sentier botanique, près du Saut Maripa, aux environs Saint-Georges-de-l'Oyapock, en Guyane française. Cette photographie a été prise dans le cadre du projet UACEF (Undergrowth acoustic communication of "earless" frogs) du Centre d'étude de la biodiversité amazonienne (CEBA). Il étudie "Amazophrynella minuta", un groupe d'espèces de crapauds dénués d'oreille moyenne tympanique, pour comprendre les processus d'adaptation ayant entraîné la perte de la fonction auditive.
