"En 2002, la concurrence avec les autres expériences qui cherchaient comme nous, dans Athena, à produire et détecter des atomes d'antihydrogène était très forte. Pour être le plus efficace possible, mes collègues et moi-même nous sommes organisés en trois-huit pendant tout l'été. Nous changions de créneaux horaires toutes les semaines, ce qui fait que nous avons souffert du décalage horaire sans pour autant avoir voyagé !"
