Soap bubble subjected to temperature variation between its base and apex. The heat creates convection currents on the surface of the bubble. Turbulence appears and large vortices form randomly like cyclones in the Earth's atmosphere. Indeed, soap bubbles have similar curvature and thickness to the Earth's atmosphere. The rotation of the bubble on the brass disk makes it possible to study the intensity and trajectory of the vortex and thus to elucidate variations in cyclone intensity and model their path.
