DC3 devant la base Concordia, située au Dôme C, en Antarctique. Cet avion sert aux liaisons entre les bases française Dumont d'Urville et italienne Mario Zucchelli et Concordia. Il permet le transport d'une seule traite entre les bases. Il est utilisé pour transporter le personnel et le matériel fragile. Il est très apprécié car il apporte également des fruits et légumes frais (salades, tomates, mangues, etc.), en grande quantité et hors gel.
