Cryostat contenant les enroulements supraconducteurs d'un SMES (Superconducting magnetic energy storage). Il comporte aussi des connexions électriques avec l'extérieur et un système de refroidissement (têtes chaudes sur le cryostat et compresseurs). Cette installation sert au stockage magnétique d'énergie, via une bobine supraconductrice à haute température critique refroidie à 20 kelvin, pour une source impulsionnelle/transitoire de courant.
