Micropipettes utilisées pour réaliser des microinjections de gamètes d'oursin. La maîtrise de la fécondation permet d'étudier les tout premiers stades de la division cellulaire et du développement précoce. Les chercheurs étudient les relations intermoléculaires lors de la fécondation, pendant les cycles cellulaires ou encore pendant l'embryogenèse. Ces travaux débouchent sur de nouvelles cibles thérapeutiques en matière de pathologies du cycle cellulaire.
