Gorgones rouges, "Paramuricea clavata", à 20 m de profondeur, dans la grotte à Pères, sur l'île Plane, au large de Marseille. Un plongeur prélève des gamètes émises lors de la reproduction (juin / juillet). Les gorgones rouges font partie du décor des tombants et des épaves de Méditerranée.
