Tente du forage EPICA, station franco-italienne Concordia, Dôme C (Antarctique). Le forage glaciaire profond (3 270 m) réalisé dans le cadre du programme européen EPICA ("European Project for Ice Coring in Antarctica") a permis de reconstituer 800 000 ans de l'histoire du climat de la terre.
