Neurones du striatum d'une souris exprimant la huntingtine mutante et analysés par microscopie à déconvolution. Le neurone contient la huntingtine mutante (rouge) qui s'agrège sous forme d'inclusion intranucléaire (jaune) composée de la protéine huntingtine mutante et d'une autre protéine appelée ubiquitine. La huntingtine mutante conduit à la formation d'inclusions dans les noyaux des neurones du striatum et à leur mort, elle est impliquée dans la maladie de Huntington.
