Dune de neige où se trouve le container dans lequel est installé l'instrument Brain. Les activités BRAIN à Concordia en 2006 sont dédiées à la quête du fond diffus cosmologique : rayonnement fossile de l'Univers émis après le Big Bang. Ce rayonnement fossile, qui baigne encore l'Univers, recèle de précieuses informations, aussi bien sur la structuration de celui-ci que sur l'histoire du cosmos dans ses premiers instants.
