Une des rues d'Ouro Preto (Brésil) ville créée par des chercheurs d'or au XVIIIe siècle. Chaque côté de la ville, de part et d'autre de l'interfluve central où se situe la mairie, correspond à une paroisse, et celles-ci rivalisent de ferveur et de luxe pour les processions de la Semaine Sainte, comme jadis pour construire les églises baroques.
