Plants d'arabette des dames, "Arabidopsis thaliana" cultivés au laboratoire Reproduction et développement des plantes. Grâce à la protéine GFP (Green fluorescent protein) les scientifiques cherchent à mettre en évidence quel gène est activé en premier lors de certains phénomènes, notamment au moment de la sénescence des pétales.
