Réglage du flux d'azote liquide sur un cristal. Les cristaux sont congelés dans l'azote liquide avant d'être utilisés. Ceci facilite leur transport au synchrotron, les fige dans un état qui ne peut donc plus varier et évite leur surchauffe dans le faisceau de rayons X, ce qui participe au maintien de leur stabilité.
