Exemple de surface planétaire rocheuse hétérogène. Un échantillon de basalte frais, riche en olivine est réduit en fragments rocheux et en poudre de granulométrie variable afin de simuler une surface naturelle rugueuse et d'étudier son comportement photométrique (Réf.
