Singe de Brazza, "Cercopithecus neglectus", (Primates Cercopithecidés), Gabon. Il mesure de 130 à 140 cm et pèse environ 6 kg. Il affectionne les cours d'eau et les zones marécageuses. Très méfiant, à la moindre alerte, il se rapproche du sol et prend la fuite dans un silence tel, qu'on le croit immobilisé.
