Céphalophe rouge, Artiodactyles, (Cephalophinae), "Cephalophus nigrifrons", Gabon. Cette petite antilope strictement forestière, commune par endroit, est très difficile à observer. Cette espèce semble préférer la forêt marécageuse. Elle se nourrit de feuillages, de graines et de fruits tombés au sol ; elle mesure en moyenne au garrot 52 cm et pèse 15 à 17 kg.
