L'antenne récepteur du radar tristatique VHF (very hight frequency) (931 MHZ) EISCAT (European Incoherent Scatter radar). Situé au nord du cercle polaire, à Tromsö (Norvège, 69'35° N). Les 2 autres récepteurs sont à Kiruna (Suède) et Sodankylä (Finlande).
