Virginie Grandhomme is a sociologist at the University of Nantes She devotes her research to the practice of graffiti and has been conducting a survey for three years in the city of Nantes.
She has followed, observed and listened to many graffiti artists to understand who they are and what their approach is, to find out their motives, why they paint, what risks they face and how far they can go.
As she encounters them, her film makes us discover the artists' creations and their urban setting.
