Shape of a City (The)
The city used to end where the country began. Nowadays, it extends on the suburbs, which form an intermediary domain.
Hervé Le Bras, a demographer, visits Nantes a big city in France and describes new ways of living in the city and its suburbs, thanks to transports which permit people to settle where they want it to.
