Extrémité d'une patte de mouche observée en microscopie électronique à balayage (MEB). On peut distinguer ses pulvilles, sortes de petits coussinets lui permettant de se déplacer sur des surfaces lisses, ainsi que deux griffes pour s'accrocher. La microscopie électronique à balayage est une technique permettant de réaliser des images à très haute résolution (jusqu’au milliardième de mètre).
