Matières premières naturelles : benjoin, rhizomes d'iris broyés et myrrhe (au premier plan). L'étude porte sur la composition chimique des matières premières naturelles utilisées dans l'industrie des arômes et des parfums. L'objectif est de trouver des molécules naturelles remplaçantes, inoffensives pour l'homme, ou possédant de nouvelles propriétés, ou encore d'inactiver les composants toxiques de certaines substances naturelles.
