Bac fluvial sur le Madeira, affluent de l'Amazone. Pour rejoindre Manaus il y a deux options : descendre le fleuve sur 800 kilomètres, comme les barges (bleues) de soja au fond, ou traverser et prendre la route BR319, quand elle est ouverte : elle a déjà été deux fois emportée par les pluies et est actuellement (mars 2007) en travaux.
