À gauche, un fossile d'"Ottoia", un ver marin carnivore vivant au Cambrien (entre - 541 et - 485 millions d'années) dans la faune de Burgess, au Canada. Au milieu et à droite, les contenus intestinaux du ver : des hyolithes et des brachiopodes.
