Gîte de larves de moustiques "Culex pipiens" dans la ville d'El-Jem en Tunisie. Les larves de moustiques simples mutants (mutation génétique les rendant insensibles à un insecticide), sont aussi plus vulnérables aux prédateurs. Par contre les larves de moustiques doubles mutants (résistants à deux insecticides), sont moins vulnérables que celles des simples mutants.
