Alternances de grès et pélites (turbidites ou flysch) d'âge éocène déformées par un pli synschisteux. Un débit mécanique appelé "schistosité de flux" se développe autour du plan axial. Le pli est déversé vers la droite, c'est-à-dire vers l'est sur le terrain. Chaîne centrale de Taiwan, Slate belt.
