Summary

Vincent Foucher, researcher at CEAN (Centre d'étude d'Afrique noire), a research unit specialising in political developments in contemporary Africa, presents his research on violence in the continent.
In particular, he is interested in the separatist movement of Casamance in Senegal. He explains why this conflict is not very violent, unlike those usually observed.
