Must we be scared of science today?

At the occasion of the 2011 CNRS Gold medal ceremony, Jules Hoffman, a famous biologist, CNRS emeritus senior researcher and teacher at the Strasbourg University, evokes the science and its drifting.
When he started his researches, science was synonym of a great hope in the world. He has noticed a certain mistrust of science and he proposes ways to attenuate it.
