A fully secure flexibility?
This video is an interview with the legal specialist and CNRS researcher of the COMPTRASEC (centre for comparative studies in labour law and social security systems) Philippe Martin. His research interest focusses on employment, labour conditions, social protection and welfare mechanisms.
In particular, he investigates northern-European models, usually depicted as "flexisecurity". The term associates so-called flexible work contracts with a high level of social protection based on training offerings and better unemployment benefits. This is a new conception of industrial relationships that needs to be compared to other countries' work habits and labour cultures.
