Start-up Bio Inspir', étude des vertus dépolluantes des plantes
Bio Inspir' is studying the depolluting virtues of a number of plants, both terrestrial and aquatic.
This start-up is particularly interested in aquatic mint, a small plant native to the Occitanie region, which has exceptional capacities to purify water loaded with metallic and organic elements. Used in powder or live form, this plant can be used to clean up contaminated water directly on industrial sites. Bio Inspir' transposes the work carried out by the Bio-Inspired Chemistry and Ecological Innovations Laboratory (CNRS/University of Montpellier) to the industrial world.
CNRS Images,
Our work is guided by the way scientists question the world around them and we translate their research into images to help people to understand the world better and to awaken their curiosity and wonderment.
