Grains de pollen de fleurs de Lys à différents niveaux de germination
Pollen grains from the Easter lily (lilium longiflorum), at various stages of germination, observed under an optical microscope. The pollen tube formation process can be observed. The aim of this research is to understand the role of lipids (particularly galactolipids) in the rapid growth of pollen tubes.
