Géranium Herbe à Robert

Herb Robert, Geranium robertianum, a species of the family Geraniaceae. This very common plant is easily recognised by its pink flowers, reddish stem and very serrate leaves that give off a strong smell. The fruit is a pod that explodes on maturity, ejecting the seeds a short distance from the parent plant and thus promoting their dispersal. This mechanism is known as autochory.
