Maquette de caractérisation de la magnéto-élasticité afin d'étudier le comportement magnétique de l'acier sous l'effet de certaines contraintes. En effet, par exemple, lorsqu'un sous-marin plonge sous l'eau, les contraintes font varier l'aimantation du navire. Les chercheurs travaillent alors sur une solution visant à s'adapter à ces variations et garder une signature magnétique optimale.
