Antenne d'un radar profileur de vent
Antenne du radar profileur de vent UHF (Ultra-haute fréquence), installé sur le site d'Aulnat, à l'est de Clermont-Ferrand. Cet instrument restitue de façon continue le profil de vent en altitude, sur la couche limite atmosphérique et la basse troposphère. Les données recueillies permettent d'étudier les processus dynamiques atmosphériques : le vent horizontal et vertical et leurs variations spatio-temporelles.
