Observation, grâce à un hublot, de matière en fusion d'un lingot à base de manganèse (Mn), silicium (Si), germanium (Ge). Ce lingot est élaboré dans le cadre d'études sur les matériaux thermoélectriques. Il est fabriqué sans pollution grâce à la technique du creuset froid sectorisé.
