Disque composite à base d'hydrure de magnésium activé (MgH2) et de graphite naturel expansé (GNE) contenant 600 normo litres d'hydrogène. Cette "galette" a été élaborée par la société McPhy Energy à la Motte-Fanjas dans la Drôme. Cette société, spécialiste du stockage d'hydrogène sous forme solide, à base d'hydrures métalliques, s'appuie sur des brevets issus de recherches menées au CNRS.
