Cilié tintinnide, "Cymatocylis affinis/convallaria". Les tintinnides sont des organismes unicellulaires, fabriquant une lorica ou coquille, souvent transparente. Ce sont des animaux minuscules (50 à 300 microns de long), brouteurs d'algues microscopiques. Ce spécimen a été trouvé dans un échantillon prélevé dans la mer d'Amundsen, dans l'océan Austral, au large de l'Antarctique. Les espèces du genre "Cymatocylis" n'ont été trouvées qu'en Antarctique.
