Sonde colloïdale pour microscope à force atomique. Il s'agit d'une sphère très lisse de 10 microns de diamètre qui a été collée sur un microlevier. Montée sur l'AFM (microscope à force atomique) la sonde colloïdale permet d'étudier les forces d'interactions entre surfaces dans une géométrie sphère-plan bien définie. L'AFM à sonde colloïdale est une des rares méthodes de mesure directe des charges de surfaces en solution aqueuse. Elle est utilisée pour étudier l'effet d'un glissement hydrodynamique à l'interface sur le potentiel zêta.
