Trois des six antennes de 15 mètres de diamètre de l'interféromètre du Plateau de Bure, dans les Hautes-Alpes françaises observent simultanément la même source céleste. Cet observatoire, le plus sensible dans le domaine des longueurs d'onde millimétriques, est situé à 2 550 mètres d'altitude.
