Galet marin de calcaire tendre gélifracté sur le cordon littoral actuel en bordure d'un fjord du Spitzberg. Les calcaires recristallisés - blancs et gris - et les grès siliceux rouge sombre n'ont pas été affectés par la gélifraction, contrairement au calcaire jaunâtre, débité "en tranches de saucisson" par le gel. Evaluation de la sensibilité au gel de différents faciès lithologiques. Kongsfjord, presqu'île de Brögger, Spitzberg, Norvège.
