Dja'de el Mughara, site néolithique précéramique de la vallée de l'Euphrate, Syrie (fouille menée dans le cadre de la mission archéologique El Kowm-Mureybet). Décor géométrique polychrome peint sur les parois d'un bâtiment communautaire daté d'environ 8.800 av. J.-C. Ce décor couvrant plus de 4 m2 constitue le plus ancien témoignage de peinture murale pour le Proche-Orient (découverte réalisée en septembre 2006).
