Nouvelle Zélande, zone hydrothermale de Rotorua : "Champagne pool". L'encroûtement blanc est siliceux, les dépôts rouge-orange sont des sulfures d'arsenic et d'antimoine, les bulles sont du CO2. L'eau est à 74 °C et à pH 5,4.
