A researcher experiments the vortex dynamics in a thin-layer fluid. The laboratory experiment consists in pulling a disk in thin-layer fluid to produce a vortex. The coloring agents allow to visualize the movements of cyclones (red) and anticyclone (black). The experiments are used to improve the meteorological and climatic forecasts.

Our work is guided by the way scientists question the world around them and we translate their research into images to help people to understand the world better and to awaken their curiosity and wonderment.
