"Coxliella pseudoannulata", un tintinnide. Les tintinnides sont des ciliés planctoniques (organismes unicellulaires) qui fabriquent une lorica ou coquille, souvent transparente. Ce sont des animaux minuscules (50 - 300 microns de long) brouteurs d'algues microscopiques. Ce spécimen a été trouvé dans un échantillon pris dans la rade de Villefranche-sur-Mer en décembre (les espèces diffèrent selon les saisons).
