Cette série de grès et pélite (ou flysch) d'âge crétacé est plissée par des plis droits (c'est-à-dire à plan axial subvertical). La déformation ductile, mais faiblement métamorphique est responsable d'une schistosité de flux (ou débit ardoisier). Mexique méridional, région de Taxco.
