Eclipse de Soleil du 21 juin 2001 en Angola, expérience de l'Observatoire de Paris (en collaboration avec l'IAP-CNRS) : lunette fluorite Perl-Vixen (D = 102 mm, Fres = 1599 mm) équipée d'un CCD Photometrics Sensys (KAF 1600) observant dans la raie D3 de l'hélium neutre et PC d'acquisition sous la moustiquaire. L'axe polaire vise la direction du pôle sud situé à seulement 11° 07' au-dessus de l'horizon.
