Le télescope CAT (Cerenkov array at Themis), installé à la centrale solaire THEMIS (Targasonne, Pyrénées Orientales) : observation des gammas cosmiques dès l'énergie de 200 GeV. Vue de la face avant de la caméra. Les points clairs correspondent à la maille de l'imagerie. Dans la main : un des 600 photomultiplicateurs (chacun répond en un milliardième de seconde après l'arrivée d'un photon).
