Le docteur Comandon et son assistant M. Pierre de Fonbrune, derrière le microcinématographe, au Centre de documentation de Boulogne-Billancourt, vers 1931. Office national des recherches scientifiques et industrielles et des inventions (ONRSII). Cet appareil leur permit de mener leurs recherches éthologiques et botaniques. Ils purent ainsi décomposer le mouvement de cellules animales en effectuant des clichés de microbiologie.
