Réparation de cassures d'ADN dans des cellules cancéreuses HeLa
DNA breaks in HeLa cells marked with bromodeoxyuridine (BrdU), a molecule used to determine the phase in a cell's division cycle, observed using fluorescence microscopy. In this case, scientists are studying post-break DNA resynthesis. Cancer cells have a high proportion of breaks in their DNA. Therapeutic agents used in cancer treatment inhibit the repair pathways for such breaks. Researchers are therefore studying these repair pathways.
